I love Instagram, and you probably do too. This week I saw some amazing posts that completely caught my attention. From fashion to art to crafts, it’s been a pretty amazing week for style on Instagram…
Rapper, Ace Hood was spotted wearing a tunic from the Indigo collection from Studio 189. He was with American actress and co-founder of the fashion line, Rosario Dawson.
This picture is just too cute for words! Supriya Wassiamal and little miss sunshine over here look like the perfect duo in their matching Christie Brown bib necklaces.
These models are gorgeous and beach ready in these Aya Morrison beach cover ups. And yes, I am completely here for those wide-brimmed straw hats too!
Ghanaian photographer and make-up artist, Ewuradwoa is everything in this picture! That hair, that make-up, those beads…YES PLEASE.
I discovered this digital artist on Instagram this week and he has some interesting work. This was definitely my favorite. The colors are rich, bold and intense!
Everything would look cuter in these little baskets!
American-based Ghanaian actor, Stefan Holdbrook looks all sorts of dope in this picture. Don’t know the photographer or the artist who created the piece behind him but I love it!
Chen Burkett never disappoints with their clothing. Always, ALWAYS classy.
This father son duo is adorable! Who doesn’t love a dapper gentleman who teaches his son to follow in his foot steps?
Blue, yellow and a dash of swag (Nigerian stylist, Jeremiah)
If you get to visit in Ghana, Vasties sunglasses are the one thing you should not leave without buying!
These two queens were looking fierce wearing Studio 189 in The Hamptons. All that hair, those crop tops, the high slit hand-made batik skirt and wide-leg batik pants were on point.
Mimi Plange did it again! Alyssa Milano looks classy in this piece by the American-based Ghanaian designer.
Once again, Chen Burkett is serving up summer fashion inspiration
I love the twist that Angolan designer, Soraya da Piedade, put on the traditional wedding dress. A little color never hurt anybody.
Finally, this picture right here caught my attention. In light of all that is happening in America, I think that this is an important reminder that inequality and injustices still exist. Being supportive of the Black Lives Matter cause does not imply being against the police. We need to all stand for equality, justice and life for ALL humanity.
So there you have it. My top 20 Instagram posts for the week in the world of style, art and creativity. If you haven’t done so already, follow our official instagram account @stylesummitafrica for more!
