Nigerian fashion designer, Anita Ebeledike’s new collection “Something Fancy” is a clean and classy collection for the modern woman. It was photographed by one of my favorite photographers, Adah Clarence.

I just discovered Anita and her brand, Divalukky and so far I am taken by the brand and think they are one to watch!

When I asked the photographer, Adah, what his inspiration behind the shoot was, he explained that it was a collaborative effort between him and the designer. He took her desire to have wood represented in the shoot and ran with it, influencing his choice of props, backdrop and the entire color scheme.

I always like to build on the impossiblities of my clients just to prove a point that, if you think it, I can shoot it!

  1. My 2 fav pieces of her collection are the mustard yellow jumpsuite and that black peekaboo dress. The latter especially, is so red carpt, I can see A-list celebs wearing it with killer red lippy, hair up, Christian L’s…and I like the designer’s wish of a natural wood brown props running through all the pics. Have a good week Elorm ( :
