Nigerian-American celebrity stylist and brand consultant, Kanayo Ebi is the face behind the showroom “Kach Me If You Can”, based in New York. The showroom aims to bridge the gap between emerging and established fashion designers and maintains a focus on African brands. Kach Me If You Can showroom features a collection of unique designers from across the globe, including brands such Innocente Messy, Rahima Mohamed, Esther Ihezie and others.

The talented stylist known for her statement clothing, ever-changing hair styles and colors, has broken through many emerging designers whose pieces have been worn by Angela and Vanessa Simmons, Beyonce and Kim Kardashian. She has also worked with other international celebrities including J.Cole, Adrienne Bailon, Dawn Richards and Rocsi Diaz, and has done work for BET’s 106 & Park, Lagos Fashion and Design Week and others. The showroom’s CEO said:
There is this unexplained yet unapologetic thrill I get in discovering and finding new brands and being a part of its development from something good and watching it turn into something great. Creating this platform for many great and deserving designers, who have gone unrecognized, will allow the industry to finally see their talent and embrace them with open arms and onto the centre stage.
This weekend, the Kach Me If You Can Showroom together with Pop Up Africa, are organizing a fashion and lifestyle event in London called “The Kach it Project”. Today is the last day of the event so if you’re in London, make it a point to be there!
